CG319X Product Overview Eizo’s successor to the CG318, the CG319X, is an HDR video editing monitor, specifically designed with Eizo’s signature accurate colour technology. This 4K monitor is ideal for those in grading, colour correcting or in photo editing, with its 4096×2160 resolution giving you the best quality available to properly produce for the consumer market you would be aiming for.
The 4K isn’t just regular, UHD 4K found in other monitors, but DCI 4K, more than 4 times that of Full HD. This high resolution makes the monitor ideal for 2D and 3D CGI, VFX, compositing and colour grading.
The CG319X features a wide-colour gamut, giving your images a vibrant look when watching back or using editing software.
Eizo have increased the size of the screen to a massive 31.1″, giving you tonnes of room to work in, with a ppi of 149, this makes the CG319X ideal for photo editing alongside its function in the video editing world.
The EIZO CG319X is a self-calibrating monitor, so that you always have the best view of what colours are currently being displayed. A small device will move itself up to the screen and using the included software or your own calibrating software that it supports, it will ensure that your screen is never off when showing you the 1.07 billion colours available.
If there is more than one Eizo monitor on your network, you can apply these settings to other screens through the packaged software, ColorNavigator 7, which will share these settings across the network, saving you time and effort from having to recalibrate them.
With a True Black display, this screen is top of the line in more ways than just calibration. It also comes with a guard to place around the screen, fending off sources of light that might cause glare.
