Elektron Digitone Keys eight voice polyphonic synthesizer with 37-keys. Bought new just under a year ago (August 2019) and hardly used – when taking the photos I noticed it even has the protective plastic film still over the display! (photo 4)
For sales purposes, the official condition status is Used.
Above and beyond the Digitone module, it has a good quality velocity and channel aftertouch keyboard – with styling evocative of Elektron’s early – and rare – Monomachine SFX6 – alongside individual stereo outs and performance controls.
It has a stereo in that can be routed through the synthesizer’s effects section which, alongside MIDI out, can therefore route external synthesizer modules played by the keyboard to either the mixed outputs of the unit or into a computer via the new and long-awaited Overbridge USB interfacing functionality.
I’m selling in order to concentrate on a non keyboard-based approach to electronic composition, although I’ll miss the possibilities of this explicitly digital version of hands-on hardware synthesis. If I had a larger flat, I’d keep it…
