Replacement Encoder Board for E-MU Proteus 1000, 2000, Mo Phatt, Vintage Pro, etc.
For sale is an encoder board (internal PCB board) taken from an E-MU Proteus 2000 sound module.It is an original E-MU part in good working condition – taken from a working unit.
The encoder works well and has a nice smooth action.All the LEDs and buttons work well.
I believe this encoder board to be compatible with most 1U sound modules based on the E-MU Proteus 2k chassis architecture including: Proteus 1000, Proteus 2000, Mo Phatt, Virtuoso 2000, Audity 2000, Orbit-3, Vintage Pro, Planet Earth, B-3, etc. although please check before purchasing.
The part number is: AP552-01.
I believe it may NOT be compatible for the following units: Proteus 1, Proteus 2, Classic Keys, Vintage Keys or Proteus FX units.
Comes complete with 3 fixing screws and has ribbon cable attached.
Easy to replace – just screws into position and the ribbon cable plugs directly onto the main circuit board – no soldering required.
I have other E-MU Proteus parts for sale so please ask me if you need any spares.
