EURORACK MASSIVE 220HP – Danish wood, wallmount or free standing, takes Moog, Doepfer etc
This is a very plush custom made Eurorack cabinet made from Danish wood and laminates, offering 220HP – in the photo, accommodating two Behringer “MiniMoog” Model D’s and a Behringer “Sequential” Pro-1 (not included in sale).
It’s an incredibly versatile design. At 45in/114cm approx outside measurement, you can mount it on a wall (there are mounting and cable access holes on the rear) or it will stand on a desk. Slightly raised from the desktop, it can accommodate all or part of a controller keyboard, 1U 19-inch effects units or cabling underneath (height 1.8in/5cm approx, width 44ins/112cm approx – see pic 2).
You can place a controller keyboard or effects on top, width 44in/112cm approx, depth 6in/15.5cm, seen with a Korg MicroKey 61 and SQ-1 sequencer.
This is an ecologically and weight conscious design using wooden not metal strips for mounting. Modules are mounted using 2mm wood screws of which a generous supply is included, together with links to buy more on eBay for a few pennies.
You can mount power supplies such as the TipTop or 4ms designs in the front, or you can place a power supply with flying bus cables or hardware power busses inside. There’s plenty of room (depth 5.5in/13cm approx) permanently to install any DIY power supply, or the Doepfer Mini or full sized supplies, and it’s easy to attach these to back or sides internally.
Given the 5.5in/14cm approx depth you are definitely not limited to skiff-compatible modules – almost any existing Eurorack module should fit.
Condition is very good, some scratches on the end cheeks but in any case you may want to shine it up with some wood stain.
Unfortunately because of the shape and weight I am disinclined to pack and ship this, so we’re looking at collection and cash payment in NW London with easy parking and near a tube station ten minutes from the centre. It’s not too heavy to pick up but it’s unwieldy, you would not want to carry it single-handed on the tube, though that may be possible with some kind of carrying handle strapped around it.
So – don’t try to pay using PayPal, you will pay in cash on collection.
