Single Fane 18XB subwoofer driver
Up for sale is a fully working Fane Colossus 8ohm bass driver.
This is the original mark 1 18XB, not the latest model, so on the label it shows power ratings of 600w/1200w/2400w.
However, the seller I purchased this from (a couple years ago now) said that it has been re-coned with the latest kit, which apparently means that it will handle the same power as the latest version (1000w/2000w/4000w).
I’m not an expert on the differences between the mk1 and mk2 woofers so can’t guarantee these claims, but the above seems true as we’ve used it for a couple of years with 1800w of amp power and had no issues! The cone looks identical to my other set of subs which have the new 18XB loaded.
Will be shipped in Fane boxes with the proper protective packaging, or you can collect from either Exeter, Devon, or Southampton, Hampshire. If you wish to collect please contact me before buying.
I also have a blown (but matching) one of these for sale after I stupidly ran a single sub on a bridged amp at 2600w…
