This is a DSP based vintage EQ and compressor, with around 60 emulations of vintage desks, EQs and compressors. It shows up as a VST in your DAW and can be controlled using the hardware controllers or software within the DAW.

This was my backup unit, bought from eBay when Focusrite made the Liquid Mix obsolete. Apart from plugging it in to test I have never used it. It did not come with a power supply which was not actually a problem as it also works bus powered via firewire.

If you are not familiar with these I would suggest doing some research on compatibility. As far as Focusrite is concerned this is an obsolete product, and you no longer seem to be able to download the latest drivers for it from them.  There are links out there for the latest drivers but I can’t say whether they are any good as I haven’t tried them. There is also an issue using the Liquid Mix with Windows 8 and 10 machines that can be fixed by downloading a different Firewire driver from Microsoft. Again I haven’t tried this as I have been running on good old XP.

Included are:

– The Liquid Mix unit

– The original drivers

– Firewire cable

I will send by courier, signed for.

Any questions let me know.
