Focusrite VRM Box USB – Used, Boxed, Cosmetically Great
A used but fully working, boxed and cosmetically as new Focusrite VRM Box.
So what is it ? VRM stands for Virtual Reference Monitoring. This cute little box allows you to simulate listening to your mixes on a range of different speakers in a range of different settings – 24 to be exact. Want know what your mix would in a pro studio? Select Pro studio on the VRM Box, pick some speakers, pop on your headphones and find out.
Does it really sound like a pro studio? No idea as I’ve never recorded in one but it was a handy device when I lived in a rented flat with no acoustic treatment and does give you a different perspective on your mix. It’s also good if you are trying to mix on headphones when on the move.

It comes boxed with driver CD Rom and original documents. I’ll also send you a shielding USB cable and quality S/PDIF cable.
I’m guessing updated drivers etc for these aren’t available from Focusrite anymore but the included CD-ROM installed on my Windows 10 machine and the VRM Box works perfectly with Ableton Live 10. The disk includes Mac drivers but I’m unable to test these.
