This machine has been in storage for at least 5 years, and not been used during this time… and I have not been able to test it as I dont have any 1/4 tape kicking around. Thus its listed as not working . However… it always did work… although when I last used it, it was occasionally temperamental; once or twice I needed to stop it and re-start it, and then it would go fine. My feeling was that it needed a general service and a clean inside.This machine would do fine for someone who tinkers with vintage kit, and who loves analogue sound quality. The control panel detaches with a cable tucked behind. There was once an extension cable… but it must have been cleared out a while ago. Although this machine was a monstrous amount of money when I bought it new, it has been sitting taking up attic space for too long, and so the time has come for it to go. If no one bids it will go to the tip! Happy bidding.
