Hi you are bidding on a Fostex VR800 8 track simultaneous hard disk recorder.Originally sold with a buddy mixing desk (VM200) this can be used without but you will need some form of ADAT converter to be able to record into the machine, and potentially a mixer if you want to vary the volume levels being recorded or mix to a stereo master. Please do not assume that this is a one stop shop for hard disk recording.If you know what you are looking at then this is great condition. I’ve owned for about 8 years and have had little time to use. although I connected up to a computer via an adat connection and was able to use fine to monitor the individually record tracks I still had on there – the Darker photo shows the machine during playback.Manual available here – https://fostexinternational.com/docs/tech_support/manuals.shtml
