Free Standing Sound Proof Drum Room3m x 3m x 3m Original Cost to Build approx 4,000.00.This is made out of profession deadening material to include acoustic plasterboard, deadening membrane, cavity frame and insulation. I built it from scratch with advice and tips from the material manufacturer. It comes part constructed and has assembly notes. Approx assemble time 1 day and very straightforward. Would consider helping if you lived reasonably local and for a reasonable extra cost.We had it in our triple garage but as long as your space is larger than a 3m cube, it can go anywhere. There are considerations for construction as its part assembled (like is your garage door wide or high enough) but I can talk you through all that if your interested. It will not eliminate all noice but reduces it by around 90% to a muffled and dull sound. My son was a heavy rock drummer and so gave it stacks but could happily play well into the evenings without upsetting any neighbours. We also used it for recording and laying down tracks. We have recorded in professional studios and that deadness effect you have in those places is exactly the same in this drum room. Remember this is an amateur drum room built with professional materials. If this was for sale when we were looking for a way to advance my sons drumming talent, I would have jumped at the chance.
