A beautiful 8 ohm Fender / JBL D120F grey basket from the late 60s early 70s, this was one of Duane Allman’s personal collection of D120F’s that he fitted into various cabs and combos.( see chassis markings in photo) – comes with provenance .We have a batch of Grey and Orange D120Fs that were Duane’s that were imported into the UK from Macon Georgia in the mid 70s This grey one is beautiful and works perfectly. He had Marshall 4 x 12s with open backs fitted with these JBL Fender D120F’s.
suitable for pedal steel, strat players, country music players, rock players also suitable to put in a Fender Twin Reverb to upgrade to the JBL version or into an Allman Brothers style Marshall 4 x 12. No issues- speaker sounds beautiful and looks fantastic
These were also used by musicians like Jerry Garcia , Eddie Van Halen, Eric Clapton, George Harrison and loads more. A bright powerful sound and very warm great for pedal steel.
