Add a little colour to your sources. Ive found this to be useful with guitars and bass drums. Its a neatly designed unit and sits comfortably in a daw studio. There are a variety of outputs and inputs, a useful compressor and a 3 band EQ. You can attenuate the input and set the output so you can drive it nicely if you want too.
