RARE Kawai K3M Rackmount Vintage Hybrid Synth Module. Digital wavetable synth with real analog SSM2040 filters….yum
Some say poor man’s wavetable synth but 6 voices of impressive PPG-ish tones are definitely possible from this little beast! And some nice esotericfeatures like A/B waveform mixing and (very limited) additive synthesis.
K3m can be controlled by MIDI Sysex controllers like Behringer BCR2000, Novation Remote SL also, for very expressive real-time possibilities.
(Stay away from the Stereoping overpriced controller, nice racket they have, heh)
Unit is in good to very good cosmetic condition and fully-functional. The original battery on the CPU board has been replaced with a coin cell for easy future replacement (CR2032).
Note this is a 220-240V unit. (North American customers Will Require a Step Up transformer).
