Kawai MX-8SR professional 2U rack mixer, stereo 16 channels, dual effects sends, excellent condition, RARE
Rackmount mixer for professionals. Stickers will come off easily and show what I was mixing with it – Roland JV1080, dual Prophet 2000’s etc etc etc.
Each of the channels is stereo and has a slider for volume, Clip (overload) LED, rotaries for Balance (or Pan if you only connect the Left/Mono input of a channel), Effect 1 Send Level and Effect 2 Send Level. There’s a three-position gain switch on each channel to cope with everything from dynamic mikes and guitars to keyboards, tape or CD players.
The master section has dual level sliders, LED bar output graph, and headphone level control.
On the rear, eight pairs of quarter inch jack inputs, effects send and return jacks, and master outputs on jack and balanced XLR.
Very good condition with minimal scratching and rack marks, and full working order.
Too rare and nice condition to ship, so collection in NW London near a Northern Line tube station and the North Circular Road with cash payment only. This is entirely within eBay regulations. I haven’t activated the Collection option since this gives some idiots the opportunity to force a dodgy reversible payment then ask what time they can collect.
In fact there’s a spate of whiners on eBay at the moment who’d like to have auctions re-arranged to suit them and have items shipped to them on the basis of dodgy reversible payment methods. I will consider shipping where you pay all the costs and full insurance, having paid me with a safe, non-reversible method – like bank transfer, or maybe in some circumstances the safe Friends & Family version of PayPal which is free from deductions and the possibility of fraudulent reversal. If you don’t like this, you are welcome to collect in London and pay cash. If you bid from another country despite the auction being clearly marked as UK ONLY, you are still welcome, for example, to offer to use International Bank Transfer, or visit the UK to collect and pay cash.
If I do ship, I certainly won’t ship to an Argos, Sainsbury’s or other box services as there’s no real control over who signs for delivery. If you ask for this I simply won’t ship to you until you provide an acceptable delivery address.
