Great bit of vintage gear that lets you sync midi devices to your multitrack tape recorder.
It records a data ‘stripe’ on a track then your midi gear will sync to it. I have even synced my computer to my tape machine with it (see video). It is more advanced than many in that you don’t have to worry about time signatures or tempo for it to keep in time and in tempo.
It will require a 9v power adapter and it is important you get one with the correct polarity other wise you will break it! See pic for polarity, it is a standard plug that you would use with guitar pedals etc but it is centre positive.
I will include a PDF of the user manual as that is all I have. I cannot offer any after sales help as this is an old bit of gear and it took me a while to work out how to best use it for my needs, and I have pretty much forgotten again now lol.
Sold as working at the point of sale as shown in the video but without any warranty or return due to it being nearly 30 years old.
