This is a 3-day auction for a Morrison Digital Trumpet. It took me several years to find it. (There’s an auction on 3rd March for another rare instrument that I’d like to bid on, so I’ve decided to offer it for a few days in case anyone’s looking.)
The trumpet itself doesn’t look as if it’s been played much, and is in excellent condition. The separate MIDI adaptor was missing when I acquired it, but I was able to track down a spare circuitboard from the inventor, Steve Marshall. (Finding him is almost as difficult as finding one of these.) I put it in a DIY case, though I expect someone else could do a neater job. It all works though. 🙂
I’ll add a pic of the adaptor and cable. I’m not looking for less than 2000 which is what this other thing would probably cost me. (Bagpipes. Yeah, I know, but…special bagpipes.)
