I bought this MOTU 896 HD Firewire Audio Interface for Macintosh and Windows in 2004. I intended to use it with my PowerBook G4 Mac but then changed my mind and started using another audio interface instead.
Since then it’s been safely stored in my wardrobe and never used. The very first time I’ve ever switched it on since it had been bought was for the purpose of taking photos for this Ebay listing.
I haven’t got original packaging any longer.
Guys this was bought a long time ago. This is a Firewire ( IEEE 1394) audio interface, there is no USB, so please make sure that this is what you want and that it is compatible with your system.
It comes with User Manual for Macintosh and Windows and Installer CD for MOTU Firewire Audio Interfaces.
MOTU 896 was bought in the UK so it comes with Three-prong-plug on the power cord.
