BUY IT NOW PRICE USD $2,100All of the buttons and knobs work great. The keyboard is smooth and quiet. The MIDI upgrade works great, and not only expands the memory to 120 patches (it used to only hold 40), but it will also load the original OBXa patches (instructions are in the manual). All of this comes at the cost of losing the original Oberheim digital interface, which I believe was designed to work with a DX drum machine, and DSX sequencer. Again, that interface no longer functions. It had to be disabled in order to install the Encore upgrade, but I’m betting most people would prefer all of the features that the Encore includes.As you can see in the photos, this unit also comes with the original owner’s manual, patch programming book, some original patch sheets, the manual for the Encore upgrade, and a power cord (not shown).
