So far, our Berlin series has been missing one beautiful iridescent sound: “Harp”.
The bug is fixed – we returned to Teldex Scoring Stage to feel the soul of this exciting tool. To offer even more possibilities, we have recorded not one, but two charming pearl harps to perfect your collection of the Berlin series.
Each harp has its own unique sound character with a consistent set of articulations for both harps. Of course, we offer both of these Harps with a lot of smart technical features:
Genuine pedal control – Every harp string was recorded in its natural, sharp and even tone. CAPSULE provides control over this function. This way you can easily set up the harp as a real player would.
Glissandi patches – Samples of these patches were recorded using the glissando technique. With this symphonic harp, you can create beautiful glissando sounds.
Damping – different damping sounds are recorded for both harps in sustain patches and are triggered depending on the time the keys are pressed. If you play very short notes, you get immediate string damping. However, if you use a sustain pedal, the string sounds while you hold it.
In addition to the technical features that allow you to have full control over these amazing instruments, of course, this collection also offers what the Berlin series is well known for: a perfectly balanced sound recorded in the famous Teldex Berlin Studio with an uncompromising recording technique.
Based on the CAPSULE for Kontakt, Berlin Symphonic Harps is the perfect addition to the Berlin series. But thanks to the generous offer of microphone positions and a variety of built – in ways to shape the sound, this library is also easy to match with any other musical material.
