I bought this amp to replace my beloved Orange TH100, it is one of the loudest hottest sounding amps I have every had but its too much for me really and I needed a more plexi type head than super hi gain. I have had it all professionally set up with JJ pre amp tubes and electro harmonix EL34 tubes in the power amp, these have not even been burned in yet, it was biased and given a proper once over when I got it, as im weird like that do it with all mine. and it does rock. Ive decided to just carry on with my other amps and at great loss sell it to someone who needs a more hi gain beasty than I, I will post if needed but this weights 25kg so and with insurance it will be free to UK mainland more for highlands islands and NI so ask for a quote first or expect a shock I would only ask the extra which might be a fiver I guess for non mainland UK but will let you know please ask. Not for outside UK or you can pick it up from either Tonbridge or Hastings.

British vibe while still sounding like a 6505+.
If you want a more controllable version of the 6505 that can be easily tamed for hard rock or even softer styles this is an amplifier that is worth looking at.
Made For Downtuning
One of the reasons that the original 6505 became so popular for metal bands is that it allowed you to keep a bright and tight tone even at really low tunings. The 6534+ is actually even better for these lower tunings due to the fact that the low end is even tighter than the 6505+. The boosted midrange also really helps as it helps you cut through without needing to crank the treble.
Gig Ready
A big reason people love the 6534+ and its brother the 6505+ is just how loud they are. This is not an amp for your bedroom as with 120w of all valve power coming from a quad of EL34 power amp tubes this is made for live use. Just plug this amp in to your 2×12 or 4×12 cab of choice and you are ready to rock any size stage…most of the time without needing a mic.
All of the tonal aspects that made them such a good studio amp translate incredibly well to the stage as well. Not many amps can claim to have the same tight low end and incredible cutting saturation that the 6505 does and that is why metal players love it.
