Hello and welcome to my auction for a Pittsburgh Modular Lifeforms SV1 / SV-1 Blackbox Desktop Analog Modular Synthesizer w/UK PSU
Ive had the SV-1 a few years now and its a lovely synth. Im selling it as Im building a small modular rack for gigging and this will not work with what Ive planned. It comes from a smoke free/pet free home and is very well cared for.
The SV-1 is a completely ideal way to get into modular synths and learn about patching. Once it warms up [around 15 mins], it stays in perfect tune and tracks well across octaves. It sounds… Awesome!
Part of the appeal of this synth is that its technically a series of modular foundation blocks in one synth. The bonus is the MIDI interface, which allows you to do all sorts of things with digital LFOs right from the SV-1.
As it would suggest, you dont need any thing else to get this to work. It has a proper UK power supply (I sourced a brand-new UK one as it comes with the original European one), and it will work unpatched. I have included the original MIDI adapter (which is fully working), but you will need to grab yourself some patch leads to make the most of it.
Warning! This will lead to you craving more modular stuff! Its super fun and addictive! Those of you in the know, will realise that this can be removed from the case its in and plugged directly into a modular rack as part of a larger system.
The unit comes without a manual [I didnt have one], but it is available as a PDF download.
