These backlights restore the display of your Akai sampler to its original factory brightness. No soldering is required to fit the replacement backlight. The new backlight slides into the display, and the display’s screws hold it securely in place to suppress vibration, and to guarantee a perfect fit. Full fitting instructions are supplied.
The backlights are custom made for a precise and easy fit, and use the finest materials to replicate that original look. As of October 2018, I use a new, even brighter and more durable material that is specifically designed to work with the high voltages of the Akai machines.
