This is the controller or base unit for the original Polyend Perc Pro ‘robot drumming’ system. This would originally have been used with up to three electronic/solenoid “beaters”, but I don’t have these. I asked Polyend how much they would cost, and they quoted me 268 each. (Ouch.)
This three-beater system is now discontinued. The new single-beater system (same beater AFAIK) retails at around 390. So there’s possible savings here, but I’m thinking instead that maybe a DIYer could do something with it.
Untested (as I don’t have the beaters), therefore listed as “parts/not working”. But I powered it up and got the lights in sync with an incoming MIDI signal so it seems intact. (Looks like it also supports CV/Gate.)
