There is something special to this studio equipment in my opinion, I have have owned high end Home Cinema audio previously and I have to say, you get a great deal of performance and quality for your money with this Presonus Studio gear. It has the best PUNCH of any Subwoofer I have owned, and my goodness I have the volume on the LOWEST SETTING it is so powerful. VERY impressed. So, it is with much regret that as I am moving to a small apartment there is no place for a Subwoofer anymore and I must sell it.
I used it (briefly) paired with the Presonus Eris E5 as part of a Home Cinema setup and it sounds AMAZING.
