Please read all listing before bidding / buying thank you!NOTE: Old VOX JMI vent slots in cabinets are typically 112mm by 10mm please check BEFORE BUYING! THE VENTS FIT THESE SLOTS. Free UK postage!
A set of 2 X Brass Vents for Vintage JMI Vox AC10, AC15 , JTM45 Marshall Amplifiers etc. (These are repros). These vents are similar but not identical to the originals with very minor differences in size and thickness and width of vent slots. Approximately 18 mm wide, 122mm length aprox 0.55mm thickness. (.71″ width, 4.8″ length 0.02″ thickness) It should be noted that the narrow brass vents either original or these repros like these are not very efficient for removing heat generated by the valves and transformers, but the do look the part with a vintage Vox or Marshall amplifier, amp. I purchased some for my own collection but as I had to buy a minimum quantity so have some extras for sale. There maybe differences from other brass vents.
Brass vents may need cleaning occassionaly.
Please note. Old JMI vents slots are typically 112mm by 10mm they do vary from cabinet to cabinet, 1960’s ac30 cabinets were made by different manufacturers. These do not fit the later VOX amps. Please check the vent slot size before buying…thank you
Ideal for replacements made in the JMI years up until April 1964 ish. These do not fit the modern later build amp cabinets as far as I am aware. If an AC30 cabinet has a hole at either end of the vent slots the cabinet is for black plastic or metal vents. and over the years some pre May 1964 AC30 amps have been fitted in later cabinets so please check your cab, thank you. There may be slight variations between these and the originals. A JMI ac30 uses 3 a JMI ac15 uses 2 etc. These type of vents were also used on some very early Marshall amps like the JTM45
