We will always do our best to answer any questions you may have about any item thoroughly and promptly, but please note that due to the nature of our business we are unable to provide any after-sales technical support.
Many of the items that we list are either used or new and damaged, and due to the minimal amount of time we are able to assign to testing each item, we are often unaware of the item’s working condition. Please see below for more information about our company.
We aim to make each of our product descriptions as thorough as possible, to avoid causing the buyer any hassle.
We usually only accept PayPal as a form of payment, although we would be happy to accept cash for items collected from our office, located in Wendens Ambo, Essex.
On each of our listings we offer both Royal Mail First Class and Second Class standard, although we will be happy to send via an alternative method if you would prefer. Please ask us to invoice you with the correct amount before confirming your order. We include package as part of the delivery cost.
Unfortunately we are only able to ship to the UK and Channel Islands. As mentioned, collections are welcome during office hours; we are open between 9:00am and 5:30pm on weekdays.

Yellow Technology Ltd. is our main business, providing audio and computer systems for a diverse clientele. We work primarily in the music industry, although we often do work for a number of other sectors, including publishers, schools and universities, television and radio. Due to the nature of our work we often find that we have a lot of leftover stock, which is what we attempt to sell online.
As YTSurplus is not our main business we do not find a lot of time to test items that we list, and for the same reason we cannot offer after-sales technial support. There are a variety of reasons why we might be selling a particular item;
It may simply be overstock, in full working order and never opened. These items will be listed as ‘new’.
Items that we may be selling on behalf of one of our clients will most often be listed as ‘used’.
It may be an item of stock that has been used and has slight minor defects. These item’s will also be listed as ‘used’.
If the item is new stock but has been opened or does not work, we will list as ‘new – other’.
As mentioned above, we do not have a lot of time to test equipment, so we are often unaware of an item’s working condition. Unless confirmed, we cannot guarantee that an item has no other faults than those listed. The buyer is entitled to a full refund for any item that is sold with faults not noted in the product description, upon receipt of the original item within ten days of us shipping the product.
