Copy of a Vintage AC30 Mains Transformer with same colours apart from the mains input.Added centre taps which can be used or taped up and ignored.Included is a laydown shroud with feet as original or can be supplied with two shrouds to be used as a stand up for Marshall type 36W The original laminations have been obsolete for some 30 years. The laminations in this transformer are the closest now available they are 2mm larger in the length. This means they overhang the back of the chassis by 2mm which doesn’t matter and doesn’t touch anything. My reproduction chassis have egg shaped holes to accomodate originals and these transformers. Original chassis will require slight filing on the mounting holes by a few mm to fit these transformers. See illustrations below.Stainless steel bolts supplied.Dimensions are 133mm (5 1/4″) X 111mm (4 3/8″) lamination stack height 1 1/2″ as originals. Same winding pattern and conductor size as original Mains Transformers Varnish Impregnated.Hand made in the UK with UK imperial materials.Finished with traditional transformer cotton insulation before heavy varnish impregnation and oven baking.
