Classic live and studio ribbon mic from the mid 1960s.
This model was used by the Beatles at the Cavern club and during their early live performances.
Quite good physical condition. Non-working. Contains all parts. Tested and produces sound output, but very low volume. Screw holding the 3 pins into the barrel of the adapter might need replacing, the head is a bit stripped. In fact please be careful when taking out that barrel as it is a very tight fit. Please contact me for help if needed with this, I know a good way to get it out safely.
Nevertheless a fairly easy project to get this into a working state and from demo videos it does sound very nice.
A manual is avilable online that shows all the wiring connections.
30-50 ohms Hi-Z Dual Impedance
‘T’ version includes the line transformer inside the body.
‘H’ indicates the impedance type.
