Roland Juno-106
Near mint condition.
It has just been fully serviced and the voice chips have had the potting compound professionally removed. The main reason voice chips fail on the Juno 106 is because after a certain age the potting compound absorbs moisture. This causes the compound to act as a variable resistor and the chips start behaving strangely or stop working.
The new replacement chips available don’t sound the same as the originals, so I think this is a better option than putting new chips in. They should now be good for many years to come.
Comes with a hard case. This will insure safe transit. (the hard case isn’t in the best condition, but still works well!)The Juno-106 is a classic. Roland analogue polysynth and was used extensively on Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories album, Tame Impalas Lonerism, and many many others besides – its an easy synth to program and can still hold its own against more modern pretenders…
