Included in the sale is the following:- Roland MC-50 Micro Composer GOTEK Floppy Disk Drive Emulator with Display (fully fitted, configured and operational) Original Floppy Disk Drive Power Supply (not original) CD ROM containing an ‘Image’ file of Roland’s MRM500 Bulk Librarian Software and user manual, a copy of the SDISK application* plus pdf copies of the MC-50 User Manuals 16GB USB memory stick containing :–    MRM-500 Bulk Librarian Software(Load and save Standard Midi files into the MC-50)-    10 Blank Disk Images (these canbe copied and re-named to create literally thousands more) * The SDISK application is the software thatyou use to create image files of your original disks for reading by the GOTEKemulator. This allows you to convert both from Disk to Image file and ViceVersa.  PLEASE NOTE: In order to install and run the SDISKsoftware you will need a PC or Laptop running Windows XP or earlier with afitted Floppy Disk Drive (not one of the more recent USB plug-in ones). Once you have converted your disks to ‘image’ filesusing SDISK you can copy them onto the USB memory stick. Any subsequent editingof filenames or managing the folder structure on the USB stick can be performedon any modern PC – I’ve been using a Windows 10 PC youjust need to remember not to delete/move any of the config files store in theroot of the USB Memory stick. The USB stick then plugs into the GOTEKdrive on the MC-50 where you then select which disk image you want – just likeyou would have selected and inserted a traditional diskette. Loading a songfrom that disk image is then via the standard process on the MC-50. The GOTEK Floppy Emulator fitted to this MC-50benefits from having a small display which shows the Directory and File Namesof the disk images – you scroll through them via the two small buttons on theright of the drive. It also has it’s own small speaker and has been configuredto make the traditional sounds of a file being loaded.I have created 10 Blank Disk Images on the USBmemory stick (see last couple of photos) – you can copy these to createliterally thousands more. I have also included a copy of Roland’s MRM-500 BulkLibrarian Software on the USB stick (which is free to download viatheir website) which when loaded allows you to save and load Standard MidiFiles into the MC-50.
The MC-50 will be carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and packaged in a box. Shipping will be via an insured and tracked service.
Any questions, please ask.
