THIS UNIT IS ‘PLUG & PLAY’. ALREADY MC FORMATTED AND READY TO SLIDE INTO THE DRIVE PORT ON THE FRONT OF YOUR MC-80.
THE DRIVE IS A ‘RARE LOW CAPACITY’ ONE BECAUSE THE MC-80 WILL ONLY SEE A MAXIMUM 2 GIG ON ANY HARD DRIVE.
2 GIG DOESN’T SOUND LIKE MUCH, BUT IN TERMS OF MIDI DATA ….. ITS LOADS !!!
THE DRIVE CAN BE USED AS THE MAIN STORAGE MEDIUM IN THE MC-80, USING THE FLOPPY DISC DRIVE FOR BACK UPS ……
