Roland SH101 SH-101 original monophonic Analog Synthesizer
One of the most iconic 80’s analog synths. Still untouched for HUGE basses, leads and FX ths synth should need little introduction.
A classic design that has often been copied but rarely bettered it went on to influence the polyphonic Juno design and can be heard on thousands of classic club, underground and pop recordings. Its sequencer and Arpeggio will respond to external ( analog ) clock and due to it’s brilliant Filter Voicing and 100% continuous analog control can be subtle and delicate or spit out filthy acid techno and everything inbetween. Bass is it’s natural habitat
It also responds incredibly well to analog processing and will sounds monstrous though guitar overdrive pedals

Please note this synth is 100% original and does not have MIDI – you will need a MIDI – CV convertor to control it from your DAW
This synths comes with a carefully sourced Modern Power supply.
SH101s were notorious for tuning and noise issues caused by bad or incorrect power supplies and due to 30 years of component drift the originals PSU’s simply will not give you the best results. Electronics have come a long way in the 30 odd years since this synths was created and the power supply I’ve sourced for this results in a beautifully recorded tone and excellent tuning stability with one of the lowest noise floors I’ve heard on a 101.
