Description
The Sansui AU-907, released in Japan in 1986 during the Golden Era of high-fidelity Japanese audio equipment, is a gorgeous vintage integrated amplifier of exceptional quality. The AU-907 offers a rated output power of 180W+180W at 8 Ohms, with a total harmonic distortion (THD) of < 0.003%. Clocking in at 28 kg (62 lb), this thing is built like a tank, but to a high degree of precision. The amp circuitry is of the highest quality, with Sansuis highly advanced -X balanced circuitry, where amplification of the positive and negative components of the signal are carried out by independent amplifiers, which further reduces noise and distortion. This amp has a twin-mono design, so mutual interference between both channels is eliminated, enhancing SNR. The AU-907 also features an advanced volume system, whereby amplification and transmission of signals with varying impedance are carried out without affecting the sound quality. Everything about this amp spells quality, with its precise, thoughtful construction and beautiful, luxurious appearance. These fantastic vintage Sansui amps are rather rare, so dont miss this one in excellent condition! This unit is in excellent condition, with only some minor general aging (please see photos).
