DescriptionThe Sansui AU-907i MOS Limited, released in Japan in 1987 during the Golden Era of high-fidelity Japanese audio equipment, is a gorgeous vintage amplifier of exceptional quality. The AU-907i MOS Limited was made to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the company and offers a power rating of 80W+80W (8 Ohms) with total harmonic distortion (THD) of < 0.01%. Clocking in at 31 kg (68 lb), this thing is built like a tank, but to a high degree of precision. The amp circuitry is of the highest quality, with Sansuis highly advanced -X circuit, where amplification of the positive and negative components of the signal are carried out by independent amplifiers, which further reduces noise and distortion. In this model, a carefully designed and matched MOS FET circuit is featured in the power stage, working in concert with the -X circuit to provide fantastic drive characteristics. The power amplifier offers balanced input for balanced transmission and amplification with high signal purity. Everything about this amp spells quality, with its precise, thoughtful construction and beautiful, luxurious appearance. These fantastic vintage Sansui amps are rather rare, so dont miss this one in very good condition! This unit is in very good condition, with only some general signs of use, including some minor scratches (please see photos).The wood part back side has some damage as well.
