Super rare original ‘CONTEMPORARY’ sound expansion cartridge for the Sequential Circuits TOM drum machine (Model 420). Desirable as it contains electronic sounds unlike the other cartridges (Special FX, Basic Percussion and Latin percussion), sold by Sequential Circuits back in the day. The cartridge has an EPROM inside that could potentially be swapped out and programmed with sounds of your own choosing. Having said that, the electronic sounds already there are currently in vogue and sound great. Onboard sounds and sounds from the cartridge can be freely combined for use in patterns programmed with the machine. There is only one other of these on eBay from a seller in Japan with a mouth-watering price to boot. Grab yourself a bargain right here. Listed price includes UK postage.
