Dave Smith Prophet X in perfect condition. Bought new from Andertons in Guildford in January this year. Still has screen protector on. Loaded with all the extra sample packs and presets released for it by 8dio: Prophet 5, CP70, A2600, OBX and T8, plus waveforms from eg Behringer Neutron. Through the analogue filters these sound amazing and totally authentic.
I think this machine is fantastic. It’s got controls for everything, excellent effects, a very easy to use polyphonic sequencer, a ton of wide-ranging and 8dio samples covering all the bases, and great sounding digital oscillators, all fed through those filters, and of course you play and manipulate your own samples too.
The keybed is top-class (with aftertouch, of course) – in fact, everything about the synth says quality.
Selling because, despite loving quality synths in general and the X in particular, I need to put my resources into bricks and mortar. This is the one I’ve been keeping back.
As to the sale itself, this is absolutely cash only and collection only. No Paypal, please. I’m happy to discuss meet-ups / personal delivery, but I won’t put this baby in the post. I have previously delivered to the home counties, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, Northhants, West Midlands, so if you’re not sure, just get in touch and ask. I’d expect that any buyer will want to put it through its paces on collection, and will be delighted to give you time and space for that, and I’ll be happy to guide you through the functions and features if you’d like.
