Shure Beta 98/S with cable, pre-amp and gooseneck – USED
This Beta 98/S is around 20 years old and has been used professionally. It does, of course, carry some surface marking from use and wear to the Shure labels, but is generally in very good cosmetic condition and excellent working order.
This auction includes:
– Shure Beta 98/S mic capsule
– Shure cable and pre-amp
– Shure A98D gooseneck clamp
The Beta 98/S is a supercardioid capsule, suited to high sound pressure level, percussion applications. It comes with Shure cable and in-line pre-amp. The capsule head connects to the cable via a mini-XLR to allow various capsules to be interchanged. The pre-amp out includes a standard XLR. It comes with the Shure A98D gooseneck, which is a solid, cast construction and virtually indestructible on the road. All metal construction. No plastic moldings or screws. The gooseneck clamp allows various combinations of assembly so that it can be clamped to a round stand or a drum rim, both vertically and horizontally. (See pictures)
