This case is a bit of an oddity It is not quite 19″ wide. I was using it with a 19″ 8 channel Behringer D.I. with the rack ears removed (see picture – I have already sold the D.I. unit without the case) and I have stuck solid foam to hold a single 1U in place. (see picture)
It would probably also suit a CD player or similar which does not have rack mounting with a bit of modification.
It is solid and professionally made but there is some rust on the handle (see picture). Both ends come off and the catches are in good working order.
