The Sony PCM-701ES digital audio processor is a device that performs digital sound recording and playback on a Betamax, VHS or UMatic recorder. It is considered a semi-professional product from the PCM adapter product family. The cost of the new device was approximately $ 3000. It was by far the most popular and best of all PCM adapters with a digital output.The sound quality of the 701ES is set to 16 bit / 44.1 kHz.
