Here we have for sale ….A Sony pcm-7040 Dat recorder in working condition……..All the basic functions have been tested and are fine ! I cant test the “studio” side of it….as I don’t have the manual……[ can be downloaded ]….It appears that the dial [ jog ] on the front has been replaced !….it was how I got it……..and its fine !…….Some regard this deck as “the Daddy of them all”…..it certainly sounds fab…the deck is far too complicated for my [ simple domestic ] needs !! and needs to be used to its full capacity !…….this is a uk only auction and No buy it now…..sorry…….This is a very heavy item, but will be packed well……can be collected in central Brum [ cash ]….or can deliver in West Midlands for petrol……I dont have a computer at home…[ library ] so don’t have every day access….may or may not see any questions…..but will try my best !! good luck Ray
