This is a FULLY SERVICED SONY DAT recorder Walkman, model TCD-D8 every part of it has been checked/tested, and Aligned with SONY Alignment tapes to manufactures specifications.
SOLD WITH A 6 MONTH GUARANTEE, i have been repairing these since the 90’s back when i worked for a SONY Authorised service centre.
Very low use, maybe once or twice a week for 20 minutes at a time, always used with high quality tapes (HHB and alike). all stock is ex council offices, so spent most of life in a draw.
It can be used on x4 AA batteries or dc power supply, it will not be supplied with either of these, the only item supplied with the unit will be the battery holder!, the photo of service manual and scope is to show specs and Alignment of the unit.
these are by far the best DAT machines ever made.
