Actually, the effects DO work, but the LCD display showing which effect you are on is faulty, and has been since I bought it new several years ago. Because you can’t choose the effects before hearing them, this renders the effects section virtually useless. Of course, if you can fix the LCD screen, are happy using one effect, or enjoy experimenting with more or less random effects, then you can treat the effects as a bonus feature!
The effects section can be effectively bypassed by setting ‘FX to Main’ at zero.
Everything else about this mixer works perfectly, and, because of the LCD fault, has hardly ever been used. As with my other items, it has only ever been used in a clean, smoke free, pet free home.
The mixer has 8 to 12 input channels: 4 XLR or TS/TRS, and 4 stereo or 8 mono TS/TRS inputs. Additionally, it has 1 TRS FX Send, a stereo TRS Mix output, headphone output, and a stereo TRS Monitor output, plus a stereo phono Rec Out as well.
The preamps and EQs are all good quality, and the mixer is sturdy and well made (mostly metal).
This is an ideal mixer for band practice, small gigs, rehearsals, etc.
It comes with the original power supply and the original box and user guide.
The postage is FREE, but I will send this First Class Signed For (Royal Mail), and it will be well packed and protected.
