SPL TDx 1502, Transient Designer, 500 Series module (rack nor included).The SPL transient designer was a game changer when it was released, with incredibly powerful dynamic shaping capabilities similar to a hard gate allowing the most tame drums to be given punch and dynamics. Unlike software transient shaping tools, material is altered in a smooth, musical and useable way. The TDX is the single channel 500 series version, taking up one slot in an API style 500 series rack. The topology and rotary encoders are accurate enough that two units can be used for stereo operation. As I already own a two channel 19″ version of these I decided to leave these out and sell them. I have two units, they have been unboxed and tested, but are new and unused besides. One unit has a small scratch on the case, which I questioned. but apparently they do not polish the internal steal cases to save on cost. This unit also has no quick start guide, but this, along with the manual is downloadable. Comes with original packagingI will accept an offer on both units for £400.
