the tape speed is fixed. you can get subtle differences in repeats by loosening a screw on a playback head or record head and moving it within a slot, side to side. (under the black plate fixed with 2 screws in tape head picture)
but it is subtle.
one channel of the 3rd tape head has recently stopped working.
could do with a new tape loop as ive never changed it.
it is quite noisy mechanically. (i used a noise gate on audio of me talking in room)
the audio output signal is recorded as is. some hiss as to be expected.
lots of scratches on the top.
this is a big item, bigger than rack mount gear. 53cm x 38cm x 13cm
and heavy.
