The SE1 was later revised to the SE1X and, along with other refinements, the upgrade removed the audible stepping when sweeping the filter cut-off frequency with a high resonance setting via the front panel knob. This, however, is due to the resolution of the front panel knobs. No such stepping occurs if modulating the cut-off frequency by an internal modulation source (e.g. Envelope or LFO) or via mod wheel or external MIDI controller. Note: an SE1X will cost at least twice that of an SE1 on the second-hand market.
Other SE1s recently sold on eBay may be at a cheaper price but they are not in as good condition, do not have the external audio input and were sold in the USA which commands a cheaper s/h price than the UK and Europe for Studio Electronics products.

There are some scratches on the upper casing but the front and rear panels are in very good condition (see the photos).
Bear in mind that this is a 20 year old item. All photos are of the actual item for sale.
The SE1 will be securely boxed and packaged for posting. Alternatively, the item can be picked-up from central Norwich.
