This is a rare Japanese instrument made and sold only in Japan, aimed for traditional music.
27 keys and a Japanese scale. There is no MIDI, the unit has internal speakers, stereo output jack, headphone jack, pedal jack and an AC input.
Pitch and volume wheel controllers. Thereare several selectable sounds (such as shakuhachi, koto, oboe, various flutes, strings, etc, in addition to several Japanese percussion sounds)
Several dials and switches for different vibrato, Japanese tunings, sustain, octave shift, etc.
Sounds are very warm and unique.
There also appears to be an internal memory as well as a slot for external memory card. Recording and playback facility.
The main output works okay. Most due to lack of operation knowledge, basic testing has been done.
Cosmetically the unit is very nice condition, given it’s age.
Comes with an power supply and original carry bag.
Powered by batteries (not included) or DC adaptor.
