The TC Helicon VoiceTone X1 brings a bit of unique grit to your live vocal performances. You can choose between a tinny Megaphone effect, Telephone, Distortion and Amp effects. You can modify the Drive dial to ramp up more Distortion drive for further intensity – or dial it down for clarity. There is also a filter control where you can narrow the bandwidth, producing perfect Phone effects. All you have to do is load one of the pre-sets, tap the footswitch and start singing. You can then turn it off or on again whenever you like. Like each VoiceTone unit, the VoiceTone X! is equipped with a clean, quiet mic preamp and is housed in a die-cast metal case to ensure long-lasting durability.
