TEGELER AUDIO MANUFAKTUR TSM – TUBE SUMMING MIXERFor sale is a brand new Tegeler Audio Manufaktur TSM 40 Channel Tube Summing Mixer. It’s been brought out of the box solely for the purpose of pictures for this sale. It was bought as part of a deal with another Tegeler unit, the Creme, and I have only got a small studio space and so decided instead to sell it on as I don’t really have the rack space for it. It is in perfect condition and exactly as described on the Tegeler website. It would make an amazing addition to any studio that can house it and from the samples on their site really helps bring mixes to life, I just simply don’t have the rack space. Included in the box is the unit itself, manual, power supply cable, cloth and flyers. The result is a typically analog, open, defined and at the same time warm sound image. The mix is no longer caught between the boxes but opens up into the room.With 2 20 channels, there are enough inputs available to gold-plate even demanding mixes. And if that is not enough, you can of course cascade several tube summing mixers. When using multiple tube summing mixers, nothing stands in the way of analogue summing of surround mixes.
In order to ensure exact reproducibility of mixes, the Tube Summing Mixer is equipped with an output switch instead of a potentiometer, which allows a level reduction in practical -3dB steps.To integrate mono signals into the mix, simply use the lower jack socket. The mono signal is then automatically distributed to both channels at the same time, which means that it appears in the mix in the middle of the phantom.
