This is one of the all time classic compressor/limiters, to be found in studio’s around the world, and on countless recordings.
If you are viewing this item then really you know what you are looking at. in perfect working order.
Many, many plugin emulations have been made to model this compressor, I can say that very few come even close to the sound and use.
It is definitely worth checking out the universal audio website – https://www.uaudio.com/hardware/1176ln.html – a whole wealth of information and history which really helps to understand what this unit is and how it can be used to stunning effect.
There is a very small hairline scratch on the bottom left of the unit, and a small chip of the paint on the top middle, it shows in the pictures but really doesn’t not detract from this unit in anyway. mentioned in a spirit of honesty.
