Van Damme 4m 21way Snake Cable XLR Neutrik XLR connectors LC-OFC
This is a serious and high quality Van Damme snake cable for pro audio use.
It is 4m long in total – the jacket of the main cable states “Van Damme LC-OFC 24 pairs pre-jacketed Multicore 268-224 100% FEF shielded – Sub Zero Use”
The last 50cm (approx) of each end has been separated out into 21 ways, each individually protected with mesh sleeving
Each way is individually and clearly labelled (1 to 21) with a label and clear heat shrink sleeving, and has a high quality Neutrik XLR connector fitted.
Eighteen of the 21 ways are “Male XLR to Female XLR”. The other three ways (labelled ’19’, ’20’, and ’21’) are the reverse – Female XLR to Male. So one of the snake has eighteen male and three female XLRs, the other end has eighteen female and three male XLRs.
All the soldering is very professional and everything is very well protected. There is a velcro strap to loop up the cable for storage, with a written text “van damme – loud ‘n’ clear”, and two other large sleeves to protect the cable and snakes.
Note that the pins (and I presume sockets) of some of the XLRs are a little tarnished. There were some adhesive labels on some of the connectors; I have removed most of this but there may be a little residue. General wear and scuffs to the jacket but very good physical condition generally.
